Sheep and beef farmers getting it done

Hi I’m Brendon Walsh, owner and founder of Growfarm.

I’ve just finished our Getting it Done series of events around NZ where we discussed 3 very important points that New Zealand sheep and beef farmers need to know among all the change and variability in our industry. Those 3 key points were:

1. Taking control of their business, not just their farm
2. How to create profit on purpose, and not leave it to chance, and
3. How true profit farming and the environment go hand in hand. Yes, they are made for each other.

It was fantastic to see the willingness of those attending to look at things differently! Which is awesome because doing the same things over and over and expecting different results sucks the life out of people and businesses.

With that in mind, we’ve still got a long way to go in our industry to actually make the changes to be ahead of the game and to have rockin’ businesses. So those who are looking at things differently and those who are keen to do that - great stuff! That’s one reason we held the Getting it Done series - to help farmers understand what it takes to actually get it done!
