Brendon Walsh
Growfarm owner, founder, coach

Born and raised in rural King Country, New Zealand, Brendon learned early on the value of hard work, teamwork, and perseverance. At around age 15, two events forever changed his life. The world economy went through incredible upheaval causing catastrophic effects on New Zealand farming businesses, and his kidneys failed to less than 5% function. These events were the seeds enabling Brendon to go on to help sheep and beef farmers all over New Zealand unleash the spare cash, the business control and the certainty they have always wanted but found elusive.

Brendon gained a B.Agr degree from Massey University in the 1990s, in between farming, shearing, playing club rugby and playing drums professionally. A passion to help young people step up and achieve saw Brendon begin coaching school, club and provincial age grade rugby teams saw Brendon not go down the farm consultant track initially. He coached personal clients, individuals and teams from other sporting codes. Delivering a values and life skills programme and overcoming kidney failure inspired Brendon to help farmers master the changes needed to run profitable and sustainable businesses.

​Having developed the systems and reputation for helping beef lamb farmers transform their business results, Brendon now spends his time coaching and training sheep and beef farm owners, growing the profit culture and helping other farm business professionals understand the business of farming from the inside. Although not a farm consultant, Brendon works with farmers to help them unlock their own potential, both business-wise and personally.

Known for his powerful ability to create winning solutions, Brendon developed the Growfarm System, utilising the 3 Step Growfarm Profit Formula. His mission - unlock the power in farmers hands to grow leadership, strength and passion in our rural communities!
